Unveiled
The Unveiled installation merges deep fake tech with a peek into privacy, voyeurism, and everyday life. Explore our private convos turned public, challenging the boundaries of privacy and tech’s role in capturing the mundane.
Central to the installation is the entire chat history between myself and my girlfriend, printed out by a receipt printer. This printed record becomes a tangible representation of our digital exchanges, blurring the lines between the virtual and the physical. Moreover, the printer is smoothly integrated into our live chat, ensuring that every message we send is instantly captured and displayed without any interruption.
To enrich the immersive experience, I’m currently training deep fake voices to mimic our own, ensuring that each line of our conversations can be audibly expressed. By incorporating this aspect, the installation prompts reflection on the ambiguous boundaries between reality and simulation.
